1. ADDY Entry Info

    Ok, for those of you who couldn’t come to the meeting tonight, first, here’s the link to the ADDY homepage. And if you look down the page it says “To enter the ADDY’s click here.” Then, here’s what you need to do:

    - create an account by entering your personal info (name, email, address, etc.)

    - anywhere bolded you have to enter, for the fax of AU just put the AU phone number

    - once you’re in, the button that says “Add Entry” is where you, well, add your entry(ies)

    - the title of your entry is what is going to show up on any award you win, exactly as its written in that box, so make sure its right

    - once you click Student ADDY categories under Division, a window with the categories should be opened up (if you don’t know what a project is classified under, look at the PDF of the rules and there’s explanations of all the categories) 

    - enter all the personal info, blah, blah….don’t put anything for Agency info

    - for Project info, if its a class project just put Anderson as the Client and for Method of Distribution just put what you’re entering (poster, DVD series, book covers, etc.)

    - and nothing for credits

    - once you have all your entries done you can go to “View Manifest” and that’s where you pay for your entries.

    - after you pay, you’ll be able to look at the printable page of each of your entries, this is what you’ll put INSIDE the envelope. There’s directions on this in the PDF of the rules.

    This is important…if you’re entering something 3D, you can either choose to send off the actual item, or just send really nice shots of it. Whatever you put in that envelope, you will NEVER see again. We have the clear envelopes that entries need to be sent in so see Speaker sometime to get those. The PDF of rules has how you need to label them and what to include inside them. Its self-explanatory and easy to read.

    This is ALSO important. Kelly Johnson will be taking all the entries to Cargo on friday since she works in Greenville. But you have to have your stuff to her by THURSDAY NIGHT.
